Arundel Agenda 21
Agenda 21 – the agenda for the 21st century – was a major international agreement made at the Rio United Nations Earth Summit in 1992. It says that we need to make the change to living in ways that the Earth can sustain. Arundel Agenda 21 is the independent group working with the Town Council in Arundel; they have set up pilot projects about living sustainably and pass those that are successful onto others to continue. Past projects include: Arundel Farmers Market; Community Bus; Flower and Produce Show; Seed Swap; Energy exhibition. They are currently engaged in Greening Arundel – community action on climate change.
Our Chosen Charity
FareShare is a national UK charity supporting communities to relieve food poverty. FareShare is at the centre of two of the most urgent issues that face the UK: food poverty and food waste.
